Rock-a-bye baby, in the treetop,
When the wind blows, the cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.
Yikes huh? And we wonder why our children wake up with nightmares as mine did last night crying, "He ate my haneburger (hamburger)."
So I changed it -
Rock-a-bye baby, on the treetop,
When the wind blows, the cradle will rock,
If the bough breaks, the cradle won't fall,
And baby will sleep all night long.
There...that ought to do it!
Bina loves this song. Of course she has no clue what it means. She just likes the 'funny' noise I make while saying it.
